Returns & Refund Policy

Overview

Curaçao Shop acts as a marketplace platform connecting customers with independent partner stores. Because all products are sold by partner stores, return and refund eligibility depends on the nature of the issue and the type of product purchased.

This policy sets out when refunds or replacements may be available and how to request them.

Eligible Issues

You may be eligible for a refund or replacement if:

  • You received the wrong item.
  • An item was missing from your order.
  • An item was damaged or defective on arrival.
  • An item was materially different from its description.
  • Your order was not delivered and was confirmed undeliverable.

Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or pickup via our Customer Service help page guidance.

Non-Eligible Items

The following are generally not eligible for refund or return:

  • Perishable food items where no quality issue is present.
  • Items that have been consumed, used, or altered.
  • Change-of-mind returns.
  • Items where the reported issue cannot be verified.
  • Digital products or event tickets once activated or attended.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Go to My Orders and locate the affected order.
  2. Contact us via the Help page within 24 hours of receiving your order.
  3. Describe the issue clearly and include photos where applicable.
  4. Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your payment provider and are typically 3–7 business days after approval.

Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the entire order was undelivered due to a platform or courier error.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before the partner store begins preparing them. Once preparation has started, cancellation is not guaranteed. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately via Customer Service.

Partner Store Responsibility

Partner stores are responsible for accurately describing their products, maintaining correct inventory, and properly preparing and packaging orders. Where a refund is granted due to a partner store error, the cost may be recovered from that store.
